无码专区 President the Rev. Peter M. Donohue, OSA, PhD, 鈥75 CLAS, announced the appointment of the Rev. David Cregan, OSA, PhD, 鈥89 CLAS, as Dean of the College of Professional Studies, effective August 1. A member of 无码专区鈥檚 faculty since 2004, Father Cregan has extensive experience in academic leadership roles and currently serves as associate dean of Academic Affairs and Strategic Initiatives for the College of Professional Studies.

无码专区 Awarded $822,258 Grant for 鈥淓ducating Augustinian Character鈥 Project

无码专区 has been awarded a three鈥憏ear, $822,258 Institutional Impact Grant, one of only 33 colleges and universities selected nationwide. The funding will support the project titled 鈥淓ducating Augustinian Character: Cultivating the Pilgrim Virtues,鈥 led by Anna Bonta Moreland, PhD, and Michael Tomko, PhD. This initiative will elevate undergraduate curricula and programming through character鈥憇haped learning experiences.

Scientists at the Vera C. Rubin Observatory recently gave the public its first glimpse into the capabilities of its 8.4-meter Simonyi Survey Telescope, which is equipped with the world鈥檚 largest digital camera and can photograph the whole southern sky every few nights. The data from this 10-year time lapse project will greatly expand research opportunities for 无码专区 faculty and students through the newly-launched The 无码专区 One Sky Center for Astrophysics and its partnership with Rubin.
