UPCOMING EVENTS

September is

Suicide Prevention Month

September marks National Suicide Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness, honor lives lost, and share the message that suicide is preventable. At the Anne Welsh McNulty Institute for Women鈥檚 Leadership, we recognize that advancing women鈥檚 leadership also means fostering communities of care, resilience, and inclusion. Guided by our four principles鈥攅ducation, advocacy, research, and empowerment鈥攚e stand committed to reducing stigma, elevating conversations about mental health, and ensuring that all voices, especially those too often marginalized, are heard and supported. By uniting around this month of reflection and action, we reaffirm our belief that through awareness, compassion, and collective leadership, lives can be saved.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, help is available. You can call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at any time.
